One shirt is your face in the CommunityOther Patchers see only your favourite shirt and its story, and that is the one they can send gifts to. Tap the ★ on any shirt to make it your favourite; you can change it whenever you like. Stories can't be edited after upload because every one is checked first, but you can always upload the shirt again with a new story.
